My HTC Mogul Freezes up on startup. Soft Reset, phone boots, then it brings up active sync (dont know why) and freezes. Please help.
Is there a way I can wipe it clean and reinstall Windows 6.1? My active sync doesn't even work anymore so I don't know how to get new files to my phone.
I took it to the sprint repair store and they did a hard restart to restore my phone back to factory settings. I lost my data on the phone but I had it already synced to my laptop so I just synced back up when I got home and my phone was back to normal with all my contacts, etc.... To do the hard restart you hold the two dot buttons down and stick a pin in the hole under the memory card slot and hold for a couple of seconds. Your phone should prompt you from there.
Not the best solution, but at least you get your phone working again.
