I NEED to know where to download a flash player for my verizon xg 6700. There is no torture like sufring the net but you can't watch videos. Can someone help ??
here are the steps that I took:
-followed the link
-scrolled down & hit download
-once it finished the install started
-the dialog box didn't have a ok or I agree box so I just hit enter
-then it says that fp7_en_cab was successfully installed
another question, was this supposed to be done through activesync?

Once it says that fp7_en_cab was successfully installed ( it means intstalled on your ppc)
Use File Explorer in your ppc to locate the .cab file.
Once you find the cab file, just click on it, and follow the usual instructions.
However, a third party program will usually not be fully compatible, and if your phone freezes somewhere, you can try soft reset to get it working again. If frequent hangs, then better remove and try another program. If it works, just enjoy....
This error code probably means that the flash player is not fully compatible for viewing that particular video on your particular device...
You are certainly not alone. Many wm6 devices are still having issues in trying to view online videos (esp. you tube ), and there are some apps that work on specific devices, but not for all devices.
However, it appears that a workable solution would be available soon, and if I find one, and successfully worked on my device, I will get back to you...
