Can't Launch Messenger On iPAQ 111

Suddently I can't launch Messenger (the e-mail clent) on my three-week-old iPAQ 111.

I was just reading my e-mail. When done I closed the application and turned off my iPAQ, which otherwise runs fine.

Now, no matter how I try to launch Messenger, the icon or the Messenger button on the lower right corner, nothing happens.

Help.
