Bluetooth scratchy after WM6 upgrade

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum and I just finished upgrading my 8525 to WM6 rom from the HTC website. Prior to the upgrade my audio through my Jabra 630s headset was crystal clear. Now it is scratchy. I just saw there is an upgrade to the rom for the 8935/ATT Tilt that may address that issue. Would that rom upgrade work for the 8525 or are there any other rom upgrades that address the scratchy bluetooth noise?

I don't think the upgrade for 8925 will work for the 8525. you can try, but I don't know what the consequence will be (bricking the phone and leaving you to have to do hard-reset the phone)

I'm searching around Google for upgrade or ROM upgrade for the 8525, but I don't see anything about the bluetooth problem yet. If I find anything, I'll let you know

if you hard reset, that's pretty much starting from zero, or to factory settings

I did a hard reset on mine from a problem I came up with after the ROM upgrade, 8925, and it kept the new rom , at least it is showing the new version number. Good news is it fixed the problem I had. I then restored the phone using the Sprite tool and it still shows the new Rom Version Number..
