Except that even after checking my email, it kept alerting me every minute until I changed the registry entry and rebooted my phone. So then I thought that maybe I would just alert myself five times, by using v3pw60v3pw60v3pw60v3pw60v3p. With each email I received, I received 5 notifications, and it just became annoying. So now I'm back to square one, trying to figure out why the notifications will not stop after checking my mail. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Exact same problem, except I'm using it in SMS instead of e-mail. The sound repeats until I shut off the phone. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

You can use Photo Contacts PRO to assign an MP3 as a distinctive SMS sound:

Photo Contacts PRO - Pocket PC ringtones, call filtering, automatic phone profiles and Photo Caller ID

Treo 750 Vibrate Alert

I've read through this topic and can see how to change duration etc of vibrate alerts - but how can I make it more obvious? The vibration is so small that unless you are holding the Treo in your hand, you can't feel it - any time the phone is on silent in my pocket I don't notice the vibrate!

Calendar Reminders

A question to the experts on this forum.
Recently, I stopped getting alerts (sound, flashing, vibrate) for any scheduled meetings in my Calendar.
I checked the settings and they look fine.
For each appointment, the "remind me" is on. The Sounds & Notifications settings for reminders are crrect. And still I don't get the alerts.
All the other types of alerts and notifications are working well.
Has anybody faced the same problem? Anybody knows how to solve it?

Thanks for your help.

PS, I am using the O2 Atom with WM5.
