Anytime I send or start to send a text message my Wing completely freezes, I have to reset or pull battery everytime..........please help. It's really killing me, I have the MDA as my back up and I'm having no problems with it. What do I do........I've deleted cookies everything except a master reset which I'm trying not to do.
I had the same problem! It drove me nutz for about a month. I kept reinstalling my WING and still the problem would come back almost immediately.
Sometimes the freakin thing would lock up while a phone call was coming in and I could not see who it was and after a hard reboot I could not tell who called!
Finally I realized that it was related to my Windows Live account.
To get the problem to go away, I had to reinstall and then NOT connect or add my Windows Live login to my phone.
It sucked, but it resolved my problem. It has not happened in the 2 months since I made this change, whereas it would happen daily.
I have the same stupid problm with my Wing but i dont even have a Windows Live account. Ive never even used it. Is there any other way I can fix this problem? Preferrably without doing a hard reset =/
You are going to have to reinstall it to get the problem to go away. Since I made that last change a few months back, it hasn't happened since.
Sync you contacts and anything you want to save to your PC, like pictures or ringtones, then go to Settings/System/Clear Storage. this will reinstall your Wing.
when it finishes sync your contacts, documents, pics, ringtones etc... If you use outlook email on your wing, sync you email too. Otherwise try NOT to use the Windows Mobile email on the wing.
If it happens again, reinstall and reduce the number of functions you use the wing for... there is one application (for me it was my Windows Live [hotmail] email account) that is causing a general memory fault.
I downloaded halogo product and also downloaded from my t-mobile wing windows live and java applications. Once I did that my wing was freezing up then I reset it. After I reset it, it wouldn't come back on. I had to send it back to t-mobile to give me a new on. so I'm scared to download anything on to my phone now.
