After a Month with the Asus 636N

I still have not been able to use ActiveSync,

I uninstalled it, reinstalled it.

For the first week When I plugged my USB cord into my PC, I saw Found new Hardware, etc....

NOW it says USB Device Not Recognized...

I clicked the XP's "troubleshooter" after the "ballon" said "click here"

Still not recognized.... although I can PLUG it in without getting the "not Recognized Ballon!!"

I have a Blue tooth Dongle, and I have been able to do file transfers.... Which has allowed me to Fionally get some Software into the SD Card

(by XSFR, not installing the SD Card into a reader)

So, I really can't complain ~all that much~ but it would be nice to sync up to get a faster connection!

Any Ideas?????

Thanks,

Phil

basic USB troubleshooting:

1)connected through a usb hub or other device? try a direct connection to one of the pc's usb plugs.

2)try soft resetting the phone.

3)do you have activesynce installed on the pc? you may need to create a relationship.
