Cingular 8125 and Novii Remote Compatability

Just to give the 8125 users a heads up. When i installed NoviiRemote onto my 8125, i proceeded to run the program and as soon as i started it, a message came up saying that the IR on the phone is not compatible and that i should check NoviiRemote - Turn Your Mobile Device into a Universal Remote Control for compatablility..sure enough the 8125 was not on the list...maybe theres a loop hole around this...anyone else get it to work on there 8125?

Can anyone tell me hwo to increase the range? On my 8125 I can only get 4 ft max away from it. I've heard rumors of people getting 7 meters on the 8125.

I had issues with it then I saw un updated version for new phones. I had to contact Novii because my 10 trial had exceeded before i tried the updated version. Once they sent me a new trial, I tried it and it worked perfect...however i had limited distance...like 2 or 3 feet. So i wrote Novii back and asked for advice. They made some recomendations. Some of the things i can remember was to make sure your wireless battery is fully charged. Also that if you are LEARNING (pointing ur remote to the wireless) your remote , that may cause you to loose distance. They said to first try to find the proper code in their code database. I have not DLed the full database and i'm sure i past my second 10 day trial period again so I can't verify it for sure. But it's worth a try.
