Just got my new XDA mini S and have been playing with the bluetooth as I used to use it a lot between my old nokia 6680 and HP ipaq rx3175 and PC.
I seem to have a problem with accessing the bluetooth services on the XDA however. I am able to send data to my new mini S via bluetooth- though finding an option to send from it seems no existant.
For example on the Mini I can get an option to beam, SMS or email data from my contacts list, though there is no option to send out by bluetooth.
I have paired all devices and they all know each other exist! Plus Bluetooth is turned on, there must be something I am missing?
Are there any decent programs that will allow easy file transfer via bluetooth?
Yep that does seem to have resolved it; I would have thought to send a file via bluetooth it would give you the specific option- though it uses "beam file" as the command which I belived to be just for the infared, so partly my short sitedness, though something wasnt hooking up before either, but all's workin fine now, so sorted .
