New Folder lock up

Hey there,

After the success of my last post I thought I could ask another question.

Every time I create a New folder that is more than 1 level deeper than My Documents sub folders.

Eg My Documents\My Pictures\New Folder

My rw6828 locks up and I have to do a soft reset.

After the reset the folder is there, and I can copy files into it no issue.

Any thoughts?

Hi chief1978, welcome to pocket pc addict. It seems as if the locking up issue is a big one with the rw6828. Some people have tried to do a hard reset, which they claimed helped a little bit. Hows your memory looking? Do you have a lot of stuff on your rw6828? Everything else works fine though?

I dont have much stuff - have 40mb free - only had the device 5 days.

Hard reset is to much trouble atm - I am getting a memory card today and if it doesnt happen when i add a folder there I will just leave it.

Its not something I do often.

Everything else works a charm.
