Sprint PPC 6700 users help plz...

How do you perform a hard reset? After you hard reset will it restore to factory settings? Will your phone work fine or will you have to install anything for your phone to work i.e., like will you have to put in msl and that stuff again? Basically, I'm asking if you hard reset will you phone work just as it would if u soft reset it only that you will lose all of your data. Sorry if this is unclear...

man252, hard resets will clear all data and return your device as if it came out of the box. But if you don't want to have to re-install all of your software and such then the path you took is the best one. What software did you use to clear storage?

man252. there is a hard reset button on your handset, u will be able to find it just next to the slot in which u put ur cable for charging ur phone. just take a pin and press that button. ur phone will be resetted then.

the slot at the bottom of the phone is the soft reset. the clear storage is the hard reset. it returns to factory settings.
