i was just wounderin if there was a FLV video player for pocket pc's (especialy for my HP ipaq 2215...may be old but i love it)
I downloaded some youtube vids and i wanna see em without havin to do any converting and stuff. Is there anything out there that can help play these files, and does the VLC player support FLV files?
*Yea, first post...and i hope this was in the right section
hi DS5, Try TCPMP core player. Just google it and load all the add on plugins and I guess it should work for you. VLC player supports FLV files also. There is a pocketpc (untested version) of VLC available at VLC Nightly builds Try at your own risk.
Hi, I am glad to recommend you to enjoy AUNsoft flv player. It is free and easy-to-use. With it, you could enjoy any flv file on your PC and URL. And there are many bonus functions, such as manually resizing the window, hanging over other windows, current screen capturing and saving, etc. At last, it is totally free.

It is not for ppc or smartphones... It is for PCs... ?
Yes, surfer88, you are right, I have had the same trouble, and I contacted their support team, only to know it is not for PPC or smartphone, but for PCs only.
They provide me a useful application, Aunsoft FLV Converter, however, to see FLV on portable devices. You can convert FLV files you have downloaded from YouTube to 3gp, mp4 or other video format that is available to you with their FLV converter. It works for me perfectl
