I'm a newbie to this crazy world of PPC devices, and am unsure of what to expect of IE. I would expect it to be able to function just as any other version of IE (such as for XP), but mine isn't.
I have a Garmin M3, running Windows 2003 SE. Currently, I am only browsing through the provided ActiveSync connection. Wi-fi will be an option in the future. When I open up most webpages, a dialogue box opens saying "The page you are looking for cannot be found"
I take it this isn't meant to be happening?? Is this because security settings aren't letting me in? One thing I want to be able to do is use Yahoo Mail, and it won't let me.
I've currently got PIE Plus installed as a demo version, and it does let me get a little 'deeper' into the web pages than the basic IE did (I can actually log into yahoo and see if there are emails waiting for me on the yahoo frontpage), but when I try to click on a folder in yahoo mail, that message comes up.
Welcome to Pocket PC Addict sa.reid! I'm sorry to hear that you're having to deal with this problem, but I have a couple suggestions that might help. First check to see if your firewall is currently on, this might be the problem. Secondly, if that isn't the problem, it's possible it could be the IE program. There are a lot of web browsers for Pocket PCs out there and Opera is a very popular one... fast and reliable. Hope this helps!
