You can only use WAV files for test message notifications. You should convert your MP3s to WAV using a third-party converter and then move the wav files over to the \Windows folder ony our Pocket PC. Make sure they arne't too big! Hope that helps!

Try downloading "Audacity" as an editor for wav & mp3 files.

It's completely free.

^^yeah, put them in the Windows Folder. Then go to Settings>Sounds & Notifications>Notifications Tab, change the Event to "Messenging: New Text Message" and your new tone should be in the list of available sounds.

Getting used to the windows version now.

The Windows folder is a Hidden Folder. What you need to do is open Explorer, Click Tools>Folder Options>View Tab. You'll see an option that says "Hidden Files and Folders". Under that, make sure Show All Hidden Files and Folders is selected.

Now you should see the Windows Folder.
