will this download be available for the cingular 8125...or can i just download it from the tmobile site and load it to my 8125..anyone know??let me know please..
Since I don't have a Cingular 8125 I cannot guarantee if this upgrade is fully compatible with your Pocket PC. However, since it is an HTC Wizard variant, you are more than welcome to try... at your own risk that is. If anyone has a success sotry, let us know!
Welcome to Pocket PC Addict dortyboy! You'll have to wait more than 2 minutes to get someone to answer! But anyway, the new T-Mobile MDA update comes with loads of new features including many bug fixes and A2DP. It is a recommended update for all T-Mobile MDA users. All you need to do is download the update and run it from the PC and follow the directions! Find it here.
i already know where to find the update but know can seem to give me a description of the update. do i need to install net compact framework 2.0 or it comes with it. stuff like that
Unfortunately it doesn't show the exact to the point soecs of the update, but my guess is that it does not. However the .net Compact Framework 2.0 has the ability to be installed on the storage card, so installing it after shouldn't be a problem.
Hi dortyboy!
I installed the new ROM update, and it does have a few improvements, but TMobile doesn't describe them...
The most visible change is that the Communications Manager now has all of the ways of communicating with your PPC on it...
As for making use of the improvements, please remember that this is a Windows operating system... who knows how many men are behind the curtain? who knows what BigMicrosoft has decided is best for you?
Seriously, I'm just using the update and enjoying the experience. As soon as I get my bluetooth stereo headphones I'll check out the A2DP profile and add to my previous post about this update...
Good luck!
