PPC 6700 and IM+ issues

I downlaoded/installed IM+ recently. I didnt like the way it looked and worked so I decided to delete it. Well, it's still there and it doesnt show up in the Remove Programs menu.

I would rather not have to do a hard reset. What can I do? Thanks in advance.

Are you saying that the icon is still in the Programs Menu? If it is just navigate explorer (or File Manager on the Pocket PC) to \Windows\Start Menu and delete the IM+ shortcut in that folder.

I already went to where I am supposed to go in order to delete a program from the phone. I did that and it said it deleted it, but it didnt, its still on the phone and it no longer shows up in the Remove Programs menu.

So as of now, I have no idea how to remove it. I can remove it from the start menu, but the program will still be on the phone itself with no way (that i am aware of) to remove it. does that make sense?

actually, let me correct that, it is NOT in the start menu... but it is listed as one of the recently used programs.

So are you saying that the program is actually removed and you thought that it was still there because it was in the recently used programs list?

I'd try to reinstall it, do a soft reset, then uninstall and do a soft reset again and see if that does anything. I know it sounds tedious, but that usually works for me on stubborn programs...

Let me know if that works.

Installation of IM+PPC.CAB was unsuccessful.

I think im just gonna have to do a hard reset or clear all the storage or something. This is starting to annoy me.
