This has probably been asked a million times....but is it worth upgrading? Do you have any links to a review of the upgrade?
Even though this question has been asked a million times, it's still worth asking. Since the WM 5.0 upgrade varies per device and the upgrade hasn't been released for this specific model, I can't really tell you how it will go. I can tell you that there was an update for the Dell Axim X50v but Dell has since removed the upgrade from their site and has released a "downgrade" back to WM2003SE due to stability issues. Hopefully the reason why it took so long for the hx4700 upgrade is because of stability testing.
