PdaNet has been a popular program for Treo 600/650 users to get their computers connected to the internet via a sync cable, and now it's available for the Treo 700w. It looks like it's only available for the Treo 700w now with EV-DO and 1x support. We should expect to see other Windows Mobile device support in the future.

When I first read this, I thought "Why would you need a sync cable to connect your Treo to the Internet? It has a phone built-in! Even if you didn't have a data plan, ActiveSync supports Internet Pass-Through, so this application is useless."
Then I read this thread and understood -- it's not for connecting your PDA to the Internet, it's for connecting your computer to the Internet using your PDA as the modem.
You might want to clarify that.
