activesync problem

HI
I have an IPAQ 1940/45 and am having problems sorting out the activesync. I have obviously made some changes to the settings as my PC is reporting that the port on the IPAQ is in use. Probably when I was messing about with BTooth. Have checked all the settings I can find and none are being used.
What is the best next step? can I reset everything? and how? the help files are not particularly helpful on this subject
TIA
Pip

Pip,
Try going into Activesync on your desktop. Choose File>Connection settings and uncheck everything but USB.
Let me know if this works for you.

fixed

Thanks for the help Brad - and I was sure I had checked all settings. I had been trying to get bluetooth to work again but all I seem to manage is to screwup existing settings
I guess it's an 'if it aint broke' situation

Remember if you are using BT to activesync, activesync has a limitation of only using com ports 1 - 9 or 6 (I forget which) .... many BT applications assign comp ports each connection and you get beyond the activesync limitation.
