Lost Software What ever happened to ...

Have you ever had THE freeware app that you couldn't live without only to loose it . I recently experienced just such a loss and I am hoping for some help. After an unrequested hard reset in my e800 I lost my Today Task Killer . It was the best Task Killer I had found. The problem is, now I can't find it again. Does anyone happen to know where I could find it again? Does anyone have any similar stories or requests.

Is "task killer" the actual name of the application in question? I know of one called killme 1.0. Or you could look around Pocket PC city in their task killer area and see if you can find anything...
Let me know if this helps

what exactly does it do? The link shows the updates to the program, but doesn't really give a description of what it does.

This is it . TodayTaskKiller is not TodayTaskMaster. This is great news for me. I have really missed this program.
As for what it does; it has several things. I haven't really looked at the new version, but the old one gives more control over running programs. It has several icons that are on the today screen. One of them tells you how much battery life is left. One lets you overclock the CPU. One lets you do a softrest. One gives you a tue X-button so you can turn off programs without going into the memory settings. You can decide which ones you actually see, so if you aren't comfortable having one on the Today screen you don't have to have it there. When it is combined with cLaunch they make a great combo. Once they are set-up you hardly ever have to go into the start menu.

BKBroiler did a review of it at the site below. He also has a lot of screen shots for it.
