Hi guys, i know how its done for my pocket pc.
but is there a program so i can have internet through bluetooth from my pc to my laptop ?
i can connect to the service, bluetooth serial port.
but is there a program instead of activesync, cause that wont work from pc to pc?
i was able to use belkin network serive and i can connect both pc's with bluetooth.
on the client i get ip: 192.168.0.1 and a gateway ip
i also have the serve configuered correctly to share internet
i just need to set up the client correctly.
how do i do that?
Are these XP machines? If so, you have to right click on My Network places (on desktop) on the machine that is connected to the internet. Then you'll choose Properties. Then hit the configure new network connection.
You'll set up the machine that is attached to the internet to allow pass through so the other computer can connect to it and use it as it's internet connection.
I'd go back to network settings and go through the wizard to set up a Home or small office network. You'll set up one as the pass through computer, the other as the one that connects.
ok i tried that but it failed.
i think i know why.
when i use my pocket pc, it worked but i would need to put in a login and a password to the proxy sever
i am trying to do that now.
