I recieved notification from Softmaker about a final beta release of Planmaker for PPCs. PlanMaker, our new Microsoft Excel-compatible spreadsheet, is close to completion. We have released the final betas of PlanMaker for Windows, PlanMaker for Pocket PCs, and PlanMaker for Handheld PCs today. The beta for PlanMaker for Linux will be out next week.

Download the final beta of PlanMaker 2004 for Handheld PCs: http://www.softmaker.de/pmh_en.htm Please note: If you have already previously downloaded an earlier PlanMaker beta, you don not have to register again but can download directly from our servers and use the old registration details.
KNOWN BUG in this beta: In the Insert Chart dialog, the preview images for line charts have data points that are painted too large. No need to report it, we already know about it ...

This program looks great -except in my opinion excel is really hurt by the standard PPC QVGA screen.... with landscape coming for some users this may make excel usable.
PlanMaker is really shaping up nicely... oh I do hope they repeat their $11.11 11/11 madness sale! I'm glad that I picked up TextMaker last year, I'll be all over PlanMaker if they do it again this year.
PlanMaker and TextMaker both work great in VGA. They have helped free me from my laptop.
