I have a Toshiba e800 PPC.
I will be using it mostly for photos and videos.
I need to know what the best vid player is,
that will play most all movie formats.
And if possible, use the e800's 640 VGA res setting.
Thanks alot
-John
That looks very promising.
This leads me to a couple other questions.
Can that be used for other movies?
Such as other mpg and avi and wmv clips I want to play on my PPC?
Also, I heard something about movie files being smaller when placed on a PPC.
Something about it automatically making them smaller, sence they dont need to me real high res?

Yes.

Pocket DVD Studion allows you to choose the size of the output file. The size depends on the quality that you select. Very high quality 500+ mb...low quality = 128 mb...

It seems that is only ment to compress DVDs from a drive.
Is there a good compressor for compressing mpg, mpeg, and avi movies that are on my harddrive?
Get the free Windows Media 9 Encoder which will encode most anyting to WMA format. This will play in the Windows Media Player on the PPC or you can get free encoders that will go from WMA to AVI, MPG, etc.
