DeveloperOne today announced they have upgraded Agenda Fusion to 5.7. This upgrade offers the following enhancements:
* Contact Company Templates Save business related information from existing contacts to use when creating new contacts. Manage/use contact company templates just like the appointment and task templates.
* Special Monthly Business Day Recurring Pattern Perfect for scheduling payroll, monthly meetings, or for any case where you need a monthly recurring appointment that always needs to fall on a business day.
* Grouped/Ungrouped Category Icon Display Option Now display your category icons in the day boxes as grouped (ideal for those of you with many appointments and many category images per day of the same type) or ungrouped (ideal for those that regularly have 5 or less items per day with category images).
* Contact ABC Bar now highlights currently active search letter
* More...
Bonus: If you decide to purchase Agenda Fusion 5.x from this point forward, you get Version 6.0 for Free. You can read more and get it here at our affiliate......
This PIM software arena seems like such a horse race. I used to own Agenda Fusion and have switched to PI. My decision was based on Developer One's lack of support for its other products (thought that may pan on to Agenda Fusion - but I was wrong), lack of journaling and mail integration.
I took the change with PI and like the program even though there have been some bumps in the road in regards to mail and journaling... My desire is for a product that works on the Pocket PC almost exactly like Outlook on the desktop.

Yes, it's a pretty tight competition.

Both companies are good at upgrading and enhancing their products. Pretty nice upgrades too. From what I gather, PI is a bit ahead in the race right now, but that could change in a moment's notice.
I have had both, but stick with Agenda Fusion because I am used to it. I think they're both pretty close as far as features go...at least for what I need.
Every now and again you'll see a new developer come up with something that is a Pocket Outlook replacement. Can you imagine competing with both AF and PI for your first app?
there was one that looked great at first glance - but it was actually a mdb file of all your outlook folders. It worked great until you gave it some stress... forgot the name offhand.
