Play golf? If so how would you like to play a round with someone, beat them by 3-4 strokes per hole and in comparison look like a golf pro? If you are looking for results like those, play a game with me and you'll have it made! :P
Aside from that, there is a program called Golfwits that promises to improve your golf game in a more long-term manner. The Tucson Citizen has an article about Golfwits and how it helps you improve your game by logging each shot and making drive, pitch and putting decisions based on the resulting calculations. Me? I have enough trouble keeping up with my golf tees to worry with such measures, but according to the article, it does appear to result in some fantastic shots. "Golfwits is the invention of Kent Sisco, formerly of Microsoft. He got the idea after watching his home pro jot down notes on his scorecard after every shot.
The pro explained he tracked every shot in detail and used the information to help improve his game. He'd review each round to learn what he needed to work on.
Sisco created a program that lets a golfer map each shot he hits on a particular course. And the program calculates statistics, such as drives in the fairway, average driving distance, greens in regulation, sand saves and even length of birdie putts."
