I have a question

ctitanic,
I was looking at the screen shots on your website. I didn't see any mention of it....but can you add your own foods to the database? Suppose I know I like to eat a special concoction that I want to keep in the database, can I add it for future reference?

Also...

Can the application have the ability to have a custom text box added to the food information screen. So I had your application and I wanted to track WW points, I could use the custom text box to create my own calculation? By providing a custom box that the end user can put in a formula based on the information on the screen should be a very nice addition... What do you think?

Yes, you can add your own records. My recomendation when you add record is to find the nutrients for 100 grams of the food that you are adding, in that way you can do comparisons like the one posted at www.pc-counselor.com/ctfood.htm where you can compare the level of proteins, fiber, fat and calories between foods.

though I don't have any plans of changing the structure of the table (your request requires that) I'll keep your recommendation in my To Do List for this program.
I would be glad to provide you with a free copy this program so you can review it if you like though the trial version is a full version with 200 records.
Send me an email to ctitanic @ pc-counselor.8m.com if you want your free copy

I just wanted you to know...these were just some knee-jerk suggestions that I had as a "former" (but soon to start again ) Weight Watcher guy.

I may just take you up on that...

I may just take you up on that. I was planning on starting WW again in mid Feb (my birthday is Feb 16th, so I want to be able to go out and eat and drink as much as I want ). But I think this application will take the place of my 60+ page excel spreadsheet that has all the food informaton. I may even take the readers through a weekly update of how I'm doing on my diet using your application..
Think about it....If I lose the weight that I need to (I'm pushing maximum density right now ) and I use your application and show everyone...It would be a great accomplishment for both ends!

Well, however you decide to do it, best of luck. Losing lbs is a challenge, especially for us computer geeks.
I trust you've added your goal to your Achieve-it! list?
