APsoft has released a free graphic memo pad called apMemo 1.0 that you can download and start using right away. You can even set reminders for your notes, much like what is found in Pocket Informant and Agenda Fusion. Which is nice for those of you who aren't using those apps. A quick, small, easy to use graphic memo pad with well thought-out interface. Jot down your note, or sketch your plan, and set a quick reminder. You can use different colors and pen widths, create memos, which number is limited only by a free amount of memory. Setting a reminder requires a minimum of actions. In most cases you need only 2 or 3 stylus taps!
What I'd really really like is a notes application that enables me to load background tiff/bmp/jpg images over which I can write comments/notes/diagrams.
The text would be erased by just tapping and holding the stylus on the screen for a few seconds.
Both the image and the text could then easily be saved, recalled and edited if needed.
Just imagine loading a small map on to your ppc and free writing landmarks and directions to your business/home right over the picture.
Or
Loading a complex diagram/organisation structure and discussing layouts and amendments then transferring it either by e-mail, bluetooth, infrared or wifi to another ppc/pc user.
This product seems close, pocketsmartpad was closer. But none get the cigar yet!
