I've looked and can't find "exactly" the right tool.
The perfect app would "ping" me every pre-set time (like 15 minutes) with a pop-up text field with on-screen keypad to enter a job code, sku, or other tracking reference (alpha) and an "ok" button.
It would store the daily data as a log/txt file by date and contain the list of the entries. I could schedule the "start/stop" time by day or category like weekday/weekend/etc. or manually start the program that could run in the background until turned off.
I "run around the floor" a lot in my current job and need to keep a timesheet. Frequently, an hour will pass in a blink having been pulled into three jobs ad hoc.
I don't think anything like this exists. Is there someone here who know of one or could write this type of app?
