MS ActiveSync

I've been having problems when I connect my Mogul to my PC via USB. I used to have the Audiovoxx 6700 but it broke, and Sprint gave me the Mogul. When I plugged my Mogul into my PC it duplicated all my contacts. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled ActiveSync, and now it tries to duplicate my contacts x3! wtf mates? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When you first formed a partnersip between your PPC and PC you should have had a choice to replace the items on your device or combine them with what is on the PPC. What did you select? I assume the Mogul had no contacts on it when you started?

You could get SK Tools and have it find duplicate contacts and delete them.

It was about 6 months ago, but I don't recall it asking me that at all. I didn't use the 6700 much because I was hoping it would break eventually, I got it from a friend. I synced it and never used ActiveSync again. When the 6700 broke, they gave me the Mogul, and I manually entered my contacts. Then I remembered I had ActiveSync installed, and it dupped all my contacts. I don't recall it asking me anything.

I seem to have fixed the problem. Perhaps I had an older version of ActiveSync and it asked me about previous partnerships, so I deleted the TWO that were on there. Unfortunately when I synced it seems to have added some old contacts from the 6700 anyway, and deleted newer contacts.
