It's so cool to have the file for the Iphone UI on my Verizon HTC...
but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to launch the file....!
Something about activating launcher.exe
BUT I HAVE NOT IDEA... CAN ANYONE PLEASE, PLEASE HELP?
It's saved on my HTC as v1. The two files in that are Re's Launcher and source. In Re's Launcher are a config, a debuglog, a launcher, a readme, and a slide file.
I'll see if I can locate the exact url or the site.
In any event, so I need to sync phone with my computer to launch new ui's?
I am totally stupid with software and have a Windows Millenium running.
This means I am a disabled American, for all intents and purposes.
OK, I found the download link on this site. Go to the v1 folder on your PPC and open it. Open the "Re..." folder and tap on the file launcher.exe (you probably will not see the .exe) and this should launch the program.
Once you validate that the program runs OK on your device you probably want it to start automatically. To do this go back to that launcher.exe file and "tap and hold" on the file. This will bring up a dialog and select copy. Now go to (on your PPC) your Windows/Startup folder and open that. Tap and hold again and select "copy as shortcut." Now the program *should* launch after any reset.
CAUTION it is conceivable that doing th auto start could somehow hang your device. I would do a backup first just in case something goes wrong. I think the odds are small, but one never knows.
