I have, unsuccessfully, tried to change my Pocket PC's boot screen (the one that says "Windows Mobile, green one). I've read on different forums that this can be done by making a file, name it welcomehead.96.png and then replace the windows file with the dame name using resco explorer.
However, this doesn't work. I simply can't find a file with that name in my Windows folder, so when I tries to replace the file it simply copies there and nothing is changed. I've set Resco Explorer to show ALL files, so it should work, shouldn't it?
I'm using a HP iPAQ 214 Enterprise Handheld with a VGA screen and Windows Mobile 6.
