Messenger / Window Update Problems

Hey guys.
I recently got my HP iPAQ 214. It's great but I'm having problems with Messenger and Windows Update.
When I try to connect using either of them they both tell me that I may need to adjust my date/time settings, I'm certain that the settings are acurate but even still I made a .NET application to synchronise my time and date with my desktop and still get the same error.
I don't have a clue what to do, maybe someone can shine some light on this?
I am connected to the internet via Wireless and everything else can connect fine just Windows Update and messenger (two of the most important apps ).
Thanks.

Btw, if anyone wants to use my application for time synchronising let me know, I made it because I found no "synchronise with server" option like you have on desktop windows. It currently only works for my time though (GMT).

Just a stab, but I wonder if it has anything to do with DST? Have you (if you need to) run the MS patch for this?
