one of my friends gave this phone to me and that was it just the phone. I had to buy the charger, usb and stylus. But i was trying to upgrade the it from the htc website and i put it on my storage card and tried to install it and it said invaild program. What im getting at is the only way for me to upgrade is to have the cd that comes with the phone. I have activesync on the phone but i plugged the usb cable in the phone to my laptop it doesnt recoginze it. someone please help me.

You have to update the ROM from your PC (to my knowledge). When you say your PC does not recognize, what do you mean? What happens when you plug in the USB cable? Do you have DHCP enabled on your PC?
