wm5 system tray

Is there a way to use the system tray/bottom bar from wm2002 on my wm5 PPC 6700. I dont use softkeys and I want a way to have links to my apps where I can always get to them.

WM5 has the tray AND the soft keys. If you are not seeing the tray it is because nothing is loaded to it. If you have an appl that allows for loading to the tray you should be able to do this.

As for the soft keys I will tell you that when I got my first WM5 device I anted to get rid of that bar in favor of space. But now that I am used to it I really like, and even customize, the keys. That said, if you want to get rid of the bar, see here.
