I've tried 3-4 different SIP applications (Pocket CM keyboard, SPB Full Screen Keyboard, Slide It) on my Treo 700WX and not one of them will work. They all download and install fine, however once selected as the default input method, they immediately revert back to the stock on screen keyboard.
Any ideas?

I see the keyboard name on the handheld keyboard list but I cannot load it.
In case there are too many keyboards on the list, consider uninstalling some of them .
Some keyboard manufacturers, such as Paragon, may introduce incompatibilities; consider temporarily deactivating the relevant keyboard using Settings->System in your device .
Another solution is to do a soft-reset and after that, close all the running programs (such Active Synchrone). Proceed as follow:Setting->System->memory->running program->'stop all'. and immediatly after click on icon .... and open SlideIT (or ThumbKey). This procedure allows the keyboard to work without the use of an editor. Once the keyboard is successfully activated you can open any program you wish to.
At this stage when the keyboard cannot be loaded, it is likely to happen that this is due to a conflict between a running program such as PCM, SMS Notifier etc..Those programs list can be found at : My Device\Windows\Startup. In that case you can store in your PC via Active Synchrone those programs in order to be able to retrieve them in a later stage and remove them from the Startup folder. After a soft reset, activate first the keyboard.
