I Have a question about multi-page texts

Alright so whenever i send multi-page texts to someone, they recieve each page as a message so they may receive 11 messages if i type that much. My friends also have to break their messages down into individual pages in order to send me long messages. When i text my friends from other verizon phones, i can send long messages that they receive as one message and i can receive their long messages as one. Is there something i can do to prevent my phone from chopping up messages and allowing it to recieve long messages? Thanks so much!

There usually is a limit into how many characters you can type. For Sprint (Touch), it's 160 characters.

For each phones, they're also different. So if yours is 160 and you send 140, the other phone is actually 120, then it's going to break the text in 2.

That's why and... I'm not sure if there's anything you can do about that, because it's not just your phone that has to be changed

yeah, it probably the limitation settings for Verizon is bigger than what you have with.. Sprint?

It probably depends on each phone and also how much the providers are willing to let through their bandwidth... they're trying to find ways to charge us, afterall :-p
