i had recently found this and installed it on my phone. can i uninstall Compact Framework 2.0 after installing this newer framework? i dont wanna mess anything up on my phone. i have an E-TEN G500 running WM 5.
I also found a new ROM update for my phone. i have ROM 097 and its now at ROM 110. if i update will it erase everything on my phone like programs? i dont have the CD to reinstall any of the apps that came with it. Will this update erase all the phone apps like the actual phone to dial out and such?
i dont have too much experience. i never realized devices such as this was out on the market (until iphone came out but i didnt want it). i love this phone and never new it came out almost 2 yrs ago.
If I am not wrong, when you install a newer version of .NET, the old one would be removed. So you don't have to worry about removing it. Or if you want to remove it first before installing the new version is fine too.
As for ROM upgrade, go ahead and do it. All your programs will be removed but you will still gave the basic applications like phone. What I mean is that your phone will be just like when you first bought it.
