I recently upgraded the os on my ATT 8525 pocket pc from wm5 to wm6 and have experienced several problems with the email notification and alarms. I set up the email notification to beep, display message and flash the warning light when I receive new emails and this indeed happens but it occurs every 10 minutes even after I acknowledge and dismiss the notification message. I have the device set to download emails as they are received.
I also use the alarm feature but it only works occasionally and when it does work (only if it a repeated email notification isn't in the queue) it doesn't repeat until dismissed like it did with wm5.
Any help and or recommendations are greatly appreciated.
