Unhappy Cingular 8125 help!

The only phone I've ever had was a RAZR...So naturally I was pretty dumbfounded when I received my new Cingular 8125. I figured out most of the stuff I needed, except for ActiveSyncing AOL instant messenger onto my phone. The phone apparently doesn't have enough disk space...does anybody know how to either delete some stuff off the phone? (there are no pictures, notes or anything on it...I don't think atleast?!?!?!) or maybe should I buy some sort of memory card or something? Any advice would greatly be appreciated!! Thanks in advance.

Paula

well you can purchase a memory card for the phone a mini sd or micro with mini adapter you can pick up a 2gb for around $25.

But you should be able to install a fair amount of programs to the phone before running out of space and having to use a memory card. with around 40mb of program memory availble you should be able to fit around 15 programs with out much of an issue unless they are all extremely large eg. tomtom, opera, xm radio.

What all programs do you have installed?

err...when I go to start->programs...there's ZIP, word mobile, windows media, voice speed dial, terminal service, tasks, SIM manager, search, powerpoint mobile, pocket MSN, pictures & videos, notes, modem link, MIDlet manager, messaging, IE, help, GetGood, contacts, camera, calender, calculator, activesync....but these came with the phone. I did buy the phone refurbished off Ebay but I'm not quite sure how to delete any of these programs off the phone!

hold down top left side button while holding down top right side button and stick your stylus into the softreset button at the bottom of the device.
