Storing Text Messages (SMS) to Memory Card or PC

I am planning to hard reset my O2 mini, but I can't do so because I want to preserve all my messages.

Is there a way for me to transfer my messages to my memory card, computer's hard drive, or any other storage?

Similar requirement - I want to transfer a number of text messages from one PDA to the other. I'm very interested to see if and how this can be done. Any help would be very welcome...

I do not save my SMS so I am not personally familiar with backing them up in some manner. For a hard reset, depending on your reason for doing the reset, you could backup your device (try Sprite Backup) and then recover.

Or you could try this program that supposedly allows you to sync your SMS in an Outlook folder.

Thanx schmenge, the program (Jeyo Mobile Companion 2) worked a treat, it lets you access folders to clean up and supports folder content to be backed up as XML, CSV or TXT. From a 15 day demo, I've managed to achieve all I need for the foreseeable future.
Cheers and Merry Christmas!
