We have our clients using a Pocket PC (Psion Teklogix w/WIFI) with versions: Pocket PC 2003 and Windows Mobile 5.0.
We have WiFi units in there and our clients, when away from their Truck WiFi hotspots, get the following messages with an OK button:
“Windows CE Networking” DHCP was unable to obtain an IP address. If the netcard is removable, then you can remove/reinsert it to have DHCP make another attempt to obtain an IP address for it. Otherwise, you can statically assign an address.
We don't want these coming up because they call it in as a problem when its not. We can't use static IPs so we are looking for a solution simular to that PressOK tool by Whittaker-Moore but for these annoying DHCP messages.
Any registry edits/Tools to help me out would be greatly appreciated!
