Ok as stated in the download section I will not be supporting 1.5 as it is for wm5 you should update to wm6!!!

I have an HTC S6440 (Its the Iris) and Install the cab no problem, do the soft reset no issue....but I don't have this "Today" menu item everyone is talking about in my settings menu....never did....what am I missing?

ok htc home will only work on devices that are running a full version of windows mobile as the iris is a smart phone it is not running the appropriate os also will only work on qvga or vga 240x320 touch screen sry palm users.

ok well im not sure exactly as I dont have a smartphone, you should ask your friend what version he is using. Also I found a thread that disscusses htc on palm 700 I will provide a link if it works let us know and I will add it to this post.

i have a Dopod 818pro...with WM5...can i somehow upgrade to htc home custom theme....?coz i got a message from a friend says... "yo....i attach it to your email...try it...it will work"..

but after installing it it seems to display error all the time... can i change like the HTC home custom plug in without upgrading to WM6?

no the only htc home version that will work is 1.5 u need 2 just upgrade to wm6 really I don't understand why any1 wouldn't want to upgrade at this point anything still running wm5 is probably no longer under warranty and I have mentioned that I will walk anyone through it so besides the few that have their devices given to them by their work no reason why not to upgrade.

UPDATE!!! problem fixed, I updated the wrong rom to my 8525.. I needed the 3.62.502.3 version. Everything works flawlessly after the update. you can find it here : HTC: Support: AT&T 8525 Software Downloads Please note this for the cingular/att 8525 only!! Follow all instructions to the T, or you can damage your phone. Good Luck


I'm new to the forums, been searching and searching... congrats on all that has had this plug in install and work perfectly. So far, I haven't found a solution.. unless I missed one. Heres the deal

I installed the home plugin 2.0 and I do not see any items in my today screen to check for the home plugin. I'm using a cingular 8525, updated to wm6, device info is

rom version 2.15.502.3
rom date 04/09/07
radio ver. 1.40.30.00
protocol ver 32.73.7020.16H

Uninstalled, reinstalled.. soft reset.. made sure I put cab on device and ran it there... What am I missing??? going bald here lol thanks in advance.

At the top of this forum shows some snapshots of screens. The area (generally) at the top where the battery levels, Mghz, and things like 62mA. What is that plugin and how would I get that? Thanks.

When updating my 8525 to WM6 the geniuses at AT&T decided to leave out windows messenger. Is there anyway to be able to download this from somewhere?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

open up internet explorer from your phone, hit menu goto favorites, media net, then mail & Messenging, few to pick from.

I installed Mobile IM, works good. Bit of delay when IM'ing but works. Hope this helps. Good Luck

Hi Nate, Question for you, I have done all the upgrades WM6 etc etc as describe in your other thread, they worked great.

Now installed the HTc home plug in,v.20.814.722 works great as well, now when I try the customizer is get a error code of "v1.5 cannot detect plug in version"

The custom os version is 5.2.1622, version 1.0b5 is this the correct version to use with WM6 ?

ok to be honest im not sure I only use custom roms, I noticed that you have hard spl'd so why not try a custom rom I have a good custom rom in my signature you should try it, it is way better than the htc rom you have now and will definatly support the htc home u want to install.

Thanks I will be trying your Rom after i play with this for a bit, that way I will be able to see the differences. Still got newbie fever right now.

Edit: removed link due to annoying pop-ups and no real help or different pov

they look to be the same files as EMU's , although I would not know how to tell the differences, maybe you could look at them ?

But anyways i reload the HTC & customizer files from there, and they worked.

ok...I've been reading this thread for 2 days trying to minimize most of my questions. BUT i'm about to purchase the ppc6800 and wanted to know if these same files that are being used on the 8925. 8525. and 8125. can be used on the Mogul to have the same home screen design etc etc. I know i can put the Cube and other files on the mogul to work, just wanted to know if these same exact files being used in this thread can work for me

When I put a background picture in, a sort of white haze covers it, making the picture a lot lighter and the start menu difficult to read. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
