I have an old h1915, the current version of ppc2002 seems a little bugged, so my question is: is there a service pack update for the h1915 or am I stuck with what I've got? Is there maybe a port of newer windows OS-es for the h1915?
Should I maybe change the OS to Opie? Anyone have some experience with Opie on h1915?
There were several free updates released for the PPC2002 OS (they were tagged as EUU 1 through 3 or 4). Have you checked the HP site to see if they're still available there?
You can also check the HP site to see if an official WM2003 upgrade was ever released. If so, you might still find it on eBay or a similar site (though not through HP directly - way too old for them to still sell).
is maybe trying to sell it and upgrading an issue? i would try to get a new device if at all possible you can get a toshiba e805 for around $320 Toshiba E805 Pocket PC Win pocket 2003 WIFI
or if you can deal with a smaller screen and processor you could get an 8125 off ebay for less than $200 just a thaught.
