PPC and Exchange

Hello Everyone,

This is my first post great to find a forum like this. I am trying to setup a windows mobile 5 ppc with my works exchange server. I have a verizon ppc and i have the unlimited web data access. our server runs exchange sp2 on windows server 2003 standard sp1.

I have setup the http for the exchange which is http://mail.azventro.com/exchange and the oma which is http://mail.azventro.com/oma

I need to figure out how to connect to the exchange server from the mobile device, remember it is not a .local connection so its not like setting up the email on a domain computer.

How to I establish this connection to the exchange mail server and ppc?
Any help would greatly be appriciated.

"The issue is not your device. You have to make sure that the Exchange Server is setup for mobile access.
http://exchangeserver/oma or https://exchangeserver/oma

where exchangeserver is the name of your exchange server

See if you can access either of the above, that's the first step. If your server requires SSL certificate then you have to install that to your device (I keep a copy of the certificate on my SD card so when I hard reset or get a new device that's the first thing I install).

It requires a pretty close relationship with the Exchange Server IT guys (in my case I have my own exchange server). One option is to use a hosted exchange service.

Let me know if you need more specifics"
