I am using NetFront 3.3 browser on my Dell Axim x51v WM5 and its suppose to have a built-in password manager but I can't figure it out. There help and website doesn't show how to use it either. I want to store my gmail password so I don't have to type it in everytime. Anyone know how to do this or even if there is a way in Pocket IE or any other Password Manager for WM5.
I haven't found any options in NetFront specifically dealing with passwords. I think it is managed through the use of cookies like on desktop IE. Go into browser settings and set to accept cookies. You may need to empty cookies to reset this function if it does not remember the user ID/password combo for sites you have visited in the past. Then it will remember how you treated each web site (i.e. whether or not you told the sign-in page of a site to remember you).
I use NetFront and it logs me into both Gmail and Yahoo sites without a problem. AFAIK this is done through accepting the site cookies that hold my login info as I have never been presented with a distinct password manager dialog or found anything in the browser settings related specifically to password management.
