I recently converted from Palm to PPC and have found that memory management is a big issue. I love having MS Office programs on the device (an HTC Touch) but they seem to be part of the reason why I have so little memory available. Is there a way to move these to my 1gb external card? Will they still work etc? Any other big items that I can move so that I can free up some space?

Are you referring to Pocket Word and Excel (et al)? If so, they are installed to ROM so it would have no real impact (even if you could move them) on memory.
Take a look at MemMaid or SK Tools. They can help keep a lot of junk off of your PPC which is taking up memory.
