Hello everyone!
I recently bought a Mio 168, problem is that the OS (MS Pocket PC 4.20) is in german. How can I install an english version for my pocket pc?
Unless you get an official ROM from your device manufacturer, there is now way of doing it. Maybe purchasing a new device, which, I assume, is not an option.

The maker may be able to help, but do not hold your breath. Each device comes with a license for a particular language version and the maker needs to observe that licensing restriction. You may be able to find a copy of the WM2003 English ROM for your device on their support site which you may be able to use to reflash, but it is always a crap shoot to reflash to a different language.
Since MS does not release the WM OS directly to the end-user, do not waste your time contacting them. They will direct you to contact the maker, who is responsible for preparing the ROM images that contain the device drivers needed for their particular hardware.
You might try the xda developers site to see if there is anything pertinent posted there.
