wmv drag & drop into my storage card?

I converted a movie with xillisoft to a wmv file about 250MB, I open activesync, click explore, click My mobile Device, then attempt to drag and drop the movie file into the SD Card folder(its a 1 Gb card), the conversion window opens but seems to freeze, until a minute later when a window pops up saying the conversion failed because there is not enough storage space. I've double checked the card space, its an empty 1 gig card, and the movie file is 250mb, I've dragged and dropped music files before, the windows conversion box opens up, the conversion happens in less than a minute and the music is now on my SD card and can be listened to on my PPC, why does this not work with movies?

I figured it out, I pulled the sd card and put it into the card reader on my computer, copied and paste to the sd card, then reinstalled the card into my ppc, on the ppc I found the movie using file explorer and played it with windows media player.

Great move. The Explore utility is very slow when it comes to moving big files. It's better to use a card reader.
