Help with large pim file in Mobile 5

I have a >5 M pim file under My Device for Mobile 5 (just upgraded to Mobile 6). What is this file and how can i delete it or reduce the size?

This file is the database that stores data related to Outlook Mobile, that is Contacts, Emails, Tasks, and Calendar. You might want to clean up your Personal data a bit to reduce the size of PIM.VOL.
