How to disable programs not listed in add/remove programs?

i need to get rid of cybron voice speed dial ( cvdsetting.exe in the windows folder) but it was built into the windows software that i have on my phone i guess so its not listed in the "add/remove" programs section, and it wont let me delete it from the windows folder. i have a reg edit program but im not sure how to use it to disable this file. i want it disable it because when i push the button on my headset try to listen to music on my bluetooth headset it automatically brings up the 'voice speed dial' program & wont just let me listen to the music. thank you!

If you cannot delete it, the program is probably installed to ROM and not deletable. But you should still be able to disable it. Try Start|Settings|Buttons. It is probably assigned to a button and you can just reassign that button to something else.

just digging through old post when i came across this thread. ok you cannot delete a program that is built into the rom. if its not in the remove programs list it cannot be removed. however if u were inclind to do so you could rerom the phone if there is a custom rom for it. imo there are alot of programs that idl on a shipped rom, including clear view pdf, win zip and real player. well just letting the people know.
